Good thing Senator Lieberman parted ways (forcibly) last year with Democrats, because his Op-ed today in the New York Daily News calling for strident support of the rebelling Monks in Burma probably isn't going over very well at the Daily Kos and Huffingtonpost.com.
The government in Burma (now Myanmar) is a dictatorial one, and is killing its own people by the thousands. My suggestion: we must try and learn more about why the government is doing what they are doing, and probably should invite their leaders over for a forum at Columbia University where they can criticize our country and President and score PR points around the world....nah, that'd be ridiculous.
