The McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Bill is one of the most pointless, destructive pieces of legislation ever signed into law...and our boy John McCain foolishly sponsored the bill that limits the free speech (via monetary contributions to a candidate of one's own choosing) of all Americans. We should have open and full disclosure of campaign contributions, and let the people decide who to vote for. McCain's "base" (Tim Russert of Meet the Press) might be impressed, but the rest of us in the GOP camp are going to "pass" on old Johnny boy when Republican primaries arrive next year.
