Just like the 19 hijackers of 9/11, these guys came here, worked in our free market economy, enjoyed American pizza and freedom (of speech, assembly, right to bear arms, etc.), yet still were ready and willing to murder innocent men and women without thinking twice.
Not to mention three of them were illegal immigrants (but they came here to work, of course....on killing U.S. soldiers). This is a wake-up call on several levels.
The Patriot Act works. Competent and vigilant citizens can make a difference (these nuts were turned in by a local store clerk). There are terror cells in our own backyard. Whatever else you think of him, President Bush has kept us safe for five and a half years. If he gets all the blame when things go wrong, let's give him all the credit when thing go right. Liberals can't have it both ways.
